Sneak peek : hi flow copper fin peformance radiator
hi guys!
we are developing a peformance radiator for 08+ 250R currently we are still perfecting the prototype. if everything goes well (hopefully), next week we will conduct the further testing. - designed for daily use, hardcore or track day - using a copper fin instead of aluminum for better heat transfer. - hi flow internal piping. - slightly bigger dimension for more capacity. - plug and play without any modification. bracket will be included. - cheap alternative for oem radiator replacement. any input are very welcome thanks! |

Great news! I like the fact that it will be a cheap alternative to oem.
How much different is the radiator on the pre-gen VS the new-gen? I would have thought they would be the same. Would be nice for us pre-gen owners if they were the same. |

I love this! I have been looking for this, and sounds like an awesome option for my paranoia about the hot weather making my bike run hot.

Good info. I'm glad you're giving folks here a sneak peek about what you're planning, but if and when you intend to sell it, it needs to be in the marketplace section on this site.

Work for me, but here you go:
Google Chrome alwlays gives me trouble displaying images while attempting to post them. 1 second. Well, my attempts haven't fixed a thing. Made it worse. Not the slightest clue why (I consider myself a seasoned forum go-er.) Sorry. But on the bright side: Right click the image (Or broken Image / Red X) > Copy Image URL / Address > Paste address in your Address Bar. |

update.
as you can see, the new radiator is slightly bigger than the oem stuff and thicker installed on my bike oem radiator took 16 minutes for the water temperature to reach 99°C cold start in the morning ambient temp around 29-30°C the first prototype took more than 18 minutes yeah.... need to improve the design... what do you think guys? |

So is it twin core, or one big row? Looks like 15 to 21 on the stock one. How much more coolant does it hold??

it's a twin core radiator.
I haven't measured the capacity yet, but I'm sure it hold more coolant than the oem |
