2006 250 Leaking Coolant

Had to change the starter so I had to take the two coolant pipes off and now its leaking out of the bottom of one of the pipes. I believe it's because the screw hole is stripped, i can get it to screw in but wont tighten so now fluid pours out. I checked the o ring it seems fine. Best suggestions on how to fix? Duct tape didn't work. The hose that's leaking is labeled 32150, the screw is 132b. Thank you !

You need to replace O-ring 670. It gets compressed over time and loses sealing ability. Tightness of bolt doesn’t have much to do with sealing since it doesn’t press on O-ring.

As for stripped hole... try tapping to next size up, 7mm I think. USE TORQUE WRENCH on every single nut & bolt on bike! Without one, humans tend to over tighten little bolts and under tighten big ones.

It should be 16mm. You can try bringing pipe into hardware store and see what fits. Or auto-parts store. Try motorcycle shops too
