When is your fan supposed to come on?
I know prolly a dumb question but I am still getting used to the bike and I notice it kinda makes a funny noise to me somewhere in the front part of the bike. I notice the fan wasn't on at all during riding or when parked so when does it kick on?
Thanks, Matt |

Mine goes on after a good amoutn of bumper to bumper traffic, crawling below 20 mph, stop and go traffic lights for a good 15 minutes, that's after I cruise 15-20 miles on the highway at 60-70 mph.

Your fan may come on while idling in traffic. It is normal. When the coolant temperature goes up beyond 96 ∼ 100°C (205 ∼ 212°F), the radiator fan switch turns on the radiator fan. Also depending on how hot your bike is, the fan may stay running after the ignition is cut off or may come on when the ignition is turned on.

Cool thanks guys. I figured that was the case but just wanted to make sure. I'm sure the noise is just something I'm not used to hearing but will get used to it.
