My front sprocket seemed to have had rubber dampers?

While I was fixing my neutral wire, I noticed that the sprocket does not look like in the wiki. At the bottom just left of the bolt is a piece of green rubbery stuff. It looks like there should be 6 but there is only one left. I found what I thought were other ones in the crud in the cover. What is this - I suspect some sort of chain damper? Will their lack be a problem? Cheers.

That most like just antifreeze mix in or dark green grease and you need new front drive sprocket

OK thanks. I am planning a chain and sprockets change in the future and will fix it then.
