I am wondering what if possible would be needed to swap the 2010 fuel guage for an 08 temp guage?

no instead of having a fuel guage that doesnt seem to really work , i would rather have a water temp guage like the 2008 250s had before they swiched to fuel guages

It's the Fuel Injected 250R's that got the temp gauge. Doesn't have anything to do with 2008 bikes, as far as i know.

Find the gauge, or the complete cluster. Also the temp sender.. Get the sender from the tank, you can have the low fuel light too.

I havent seen anything come across ebay since 2008, been looking. Tried emailing shops overseas, but they were no help.

GL on finding the stuff

Here is a DIY I did for the Daytona water gauge.

The only downside I have found, is the LCD display will black-out in direct sunlight on 100 degree days.
