Plasti Dip Windscreen & Bolts DIY Project

Alex, Move if necessary, wasn't to sure where to post it.

What's up guys ! So, I decided I wanted to get a dark smoke or blacked out windscreen. Ended up doing a DIY project with the OEM windscreen with some Plasti Dip I had left.

I used electrical tape to mask most of the windscreen, because it's more flexible compared to painter's tape & it's easier to follow curved edges. I think I did like 4-6 coats on the windscreen. Then, while I was waiting I thought of plasti dipping the bolts white. Very impatient guy here, lol. So, as I was waiting for the coats to drive for 20-30 mins. I ended up wanting to dip the oil cap, HAHA. I coated the bolts & oil cap 6-8 times, waited 10-20 mins between each coat, because they were going to be used with tools more often.

I love it! I feel confident to say. "Yes! I did it myself, haha." It looks more clean & aggressive to me. & if I get tired of it I can just peel it off back to OEM.

Fun & productive sunday for me.
