Oxford heated grips

So where i live the weather is beginning to become a little irritating. And since my truck will be in the shop for at least another two months it was time to invest in some heated grips. Everyone says the oxford heated grips are the best way to go so i ordered some up from Amazon last week and they showed up yesterday. I just finished installing them and they seem to be working just fine, they'll get the weather test in the morning though. A few things that i ran into that may be some good info so your install may go a little smoother. I had to trim the throttle side a little bit because the grip kept sticking on the bar end. The left side tube didn't go on quite so easy, i had to persuade it for a while until i had it positioned where i wanted it. They give you more than enough wire so i didn't have any problem with routing them nicely. But all in all they seem really good quality and most importantly the work lol. It's a pretty cheap fix for only $80 considering i'd arrive at work and my fingers were completely numb. But again, we'll see how the work in the morning when its cold, wet and miserable.

They're working good so far. Its been getting pretty cold and wet here and they seem to work perfectly. They actually are a little too hot when switched to the two highest settings. But well worth the money so far!

Nice, I really like the moose racing grip heaters, with a heat troller to modulate the temperature. But sounds like your setup is doing the job!

Ya, they've been great so far! It's an interesting feeling getting used to them though. It feels like putting icyhot on your hands sometimes lol the top two settings are definitely far to hot, i can't think of a time i'd ever need to use them besides warming them up in the morning.

Easy installation

It's a pretty well-designed product. I installed a set on my ER6n in about a half hour, most of which I spent removing the bar-ends and the original grips (I wanted to remove them intact for possible future use). The kit has foolproof wiring with its own fuse, and good instructions, and is also pretty robustly designed and built. I wired mine directly to my battery and mounted the control panel on the fascia under my tach.

I've installed cheapo grip heaters on other bikes, and they work fine, but have less graduated heat control and more complex wiring, making errors, shorts, etc., more likely, and extending installation time.
