Ninjette is gone...

...and here is my new daily ride

I actually got the Ninjette after the first one of these I had. Ninjette was fun but I wanted my power (and sound) back.

It's only ugly because its so cutting edge looking compared to the pregen...

I mean the BMW S1000RR is ugly to me... LMAO

I think S1000RR's are great looking bikes!!! Every flap, vent, light, crease, and fold is there for a specifically designed purpose. Germans are nuts with over-engineering everything.

The thought that goes into it makes it look good to me.

No they tried styling it(the BMW) ..as creative and passionate as they could get was "asymmetric" lol

I lust for a liter twin. Actually I lust for any twin no smaller than 500cc when I don't feel like downshifting on my F4i... the girl doesn't like low revs. I think I'd have to go with a VTR1000F over a TL though. Too bad kawasaki has never made a bad ass big twin bike

P.S. I don't think TLs are ugly... except that camel hump of a seat cowl that Suzuki thought was a good idea....

Awesome score, great bikes (when they run :P).

V-twins are amazingly enjoyable to ride and listen to.

Early 'busa parts swap well with the TLR's, to include forks ('busa forks are tin coated(gold)), brakes, wheels, etc.

Superhawk? Main complaint: Carbs. I'm done after my KLX250 and Ninja 250 experience. Press the button and go and tune it in 5 minutes with a cable.

Kawasaki twin would have been fun...Kawi makes GREAT motors.....

What's funny is I picked it up for $3600. I bought a house right after. The bank didn't like the loan on my credit so they paid it off for me. In the end I paid $800 out of my pocket for that bike

Sold the Ninjette for $2k. I do sorta miss it, but would get a new gen or a 300 if I did it again.

Thanks guys! I'll be around here quite a bit. I'm excited to see what happens with the 300. Also I have an interest in racing..still....the 250 seems very economical...

Superhawks have like a 130 mile range on a good day too but screw it, its a liter twin I wouldn't get one to be economical. FI is nice but I enjoy the simplicity of carbs, my CBR has had issues so I spent months and $$$ effing around with FI related things (easiest and first things to check based on the issues I was having) and it turns out that it's just reeeaaaaaaallllyyyyyyy out of spec valves. Then again my 500 doesn't have very fussy carbs, don't even need choke when it's 50-60 or warmer out and in the summer it might as well be an FI bike.

So update. I kinda of miss my pregen in spite of having this bike. The pregen was always way down on power for me ..(it was my 5th bike) but.. the lightness was hilariously fun. You could do no wrong in the corners....

The TL1000R is alot of work to hustle around.
