If she's gonna cut movies together, yeah, you can't go wrong with FC. But I'd check with Stanford too. (congrats btw!!!) There's been times where I used a different program than what my school uses and it MIGHT cause problems when she works at school's labs. Not a big deal though, you end up learning all programs at some point, to some extent.
Thank you!

That is awesome advice and I will pass it along!

Here's another! Don't sweat the tech part too much. It gets there eventually. Don't neglect it but don't sweat it.

Good education teaches people how to think. Our school is proud of that. I'm a tech-head and learn software very easily (must be the engineer in me who switched to design before getting a degree, haha) But I've seen many people struggle at first only to become masters on any program they needed to execute their ideas.

UPDATE: Put 360 miles on top of the 1430 original. Only on my 6th day! Nothing too crazy but not too shabby!
Having a blast. I'm sure it'll slow down but hopefully not too soon.

I've had mine for almost a year and a half... haven't lost interest... she's still as fun (maybe even more) than when I first got her!!! Too many people underestimate the 250

Indeed! I was about to text you to hear about progress. Sucks that I'm no avail next 3 or 4 weekends.
When do you think you'll be done with everything?

I feel like a heroin addict shooting up for the first time since sobriety!

Not that I would know what that feels like...
