removing stock rim tape on special edition model
Has anyone does this before? Does it straight peel off or what??

I believe the stripes on the SE's is painted on.

Not even sure why you would want them off... it's what sets them off Most people add them to the ones that don't have them. It's also one of the reasons I've decided not to get mine powdercoated white, because I would miss the green stripe.
Different strokes for different folks though
