Hello from the UK

Hi all,
Just signed up after buying my first Kawasaki in 43 years of riding.
2014 registered, 11000 miles.
Will be used for my commuting, replacing my trusty workhorse FJS600.
First mods are completed, heated grips and a rear hugger.
Pic of the new machine and the other 250 in my life.

Being a lifelong 2-stoke rider, I like the RGV! Welcome to the board, Ian!

Thanks Jim.
Bought it in 2013 as a non runner, spent a "little bit" on it to get it going. Cycle parts are not too bad but the engine rebuild, replated barrels, new pistons and brand new crank were a bit steep.
You'll like my 380 aswell, owned it since 1996.

Yes, I sure do. Here are my two, the '72 H2 I bought in 1978, and the '78 DT100 I set up for the Tail of the Dragon a few years ago.

Thanks all for the welcome.
Couple more pics of the Suzukis at the Distinguished Gentlemans ride in 2018 & 19.
The ride on the 380 started at the Triumph factory just 20 mins up the road from home.
The DGR on the RGV was in Northampton, bit odd riding a race rep in a suit but for a worthy cause.
Pic for Jim from the annual bike show in my home town, usually about 1000 bikes turn up.

Still not used the Ninja for work, too icy for my liking.

That looks like a great show! My Daughter and I go to the annual 2-stroke meet at Deals Gap, NC. We don't get 1,000 2-strokes, but we get a lot. We take over the whole motel for the week. Spending a week there with all those 2-strokes and all the amazing twisty mountain roads and motorcycle friendly towns is something to look forward to!
