Question need some east coast roadtrip advice

Okay so in about a month's time I'll be making the drive home from south Alabama to Maine, not on my bike(def not ready for that one alone )

I was wondering if anyone could give me some good sites I could check out on the way

I call southern Maine home, and since I'm a nomad right now that means anywhere from Waterford(close to NH) to Old Orchard Beach

You could check out Stone Mountain Park in GA and watch the laser show.

There are numerous things to see in Boston but parking is never fun. York, ME is a pretty nice town and should be empty now that the summer season is over. If you are looking for shopping there are the outlets at Kittery.

I’m not sure yet, my work ends when either my deer die or they live past two months of age so its looking like Mid-Oct.

Laser show is after dark of course (it's projected on the side of the mountain), so you might wanna spend the day there, if you can spare it. I haven't been back since operations were handed to an amusement company (it was operated by the state) but there was always plenty to do. The gift shop at the top is cool and it's a really relaxing hike up the back side. If kids are coming, they'll love the train circling the mountain!
