New grips. Somewhat underwhelming result because they were a bit short and I had to cut off some rubber. They look relatively nice though.

Just got back from getting my way overdue 600 maint. I was without my bike for a day and it seemed like a week, it sure was nice riding home

Transported my bike from Bombay to my current location in Rudrapur. Tons of twisties near by and several hill stations to visit... Unfortunately the bike arrIved with a bent kick stand and broken indicators... Nothing a flame torch and hammer couldn't fix, but still very annoying. Indicators have been repeatedly fixed with super glue, this time will be no different...

I would like to put a water bottle holder, I just didn't think I had anywhere to put it, I would like to see a pic of this also. I am still learning about my bike

Yesterday I got my bike back from the shop, they did the 600 mile maint. for me and today I had to clean the crap out of my back tire from all the lube they put on the chain -- it took me at least 20 - 30 min on just the back wheel then I had to wash my hands with dawn and comet to scrub all the lube off my hands so that I could clean the rest. I could not believe that a 25 mile ride could sling so much lube, they must be using some kind of cheap stuff?????

Did the GSXR shock and pod filter. The filter is taped off because I don't have my jets yet. And for anyone who has a GSXR shock, an AR15 barrel wrench works great as a preload adjuster. :-)

I got a bit stir crazy in the last day or so.

- cleaned/lubed chain
- tried buffing compound on the tank (a few jacket scratches - it worked for the shallow ones, and the deep ones look better)
- waxed the tank after the buffing
- installed semipermanent SAE connector for battery tender/USB port
- converted my OtterBox Defender into a GPS mount. Did you know you can't see black duct tape on the dash of a black Ninja?

I put on 250+ miles on the bike today on a ride with a few friends. I knew I was pushing my worn front tires a good bit so I laid off the throttle some. After the ride we went back to one of the guys place to chill. While we were there, he offered to give me a used front tire and we installed it there in his garage. 120/70/17 BT-16. Cleaned my chain too afterwards

I cleaned/lubed my chain, and completed my first oil/filter change. I took the bike for a ride afterwards and noticed that there is a repetitive squeeling noise when coming to a stop.

Yesterday helped Rabies cut and reweld the back end of his 250. I cut a piece of a bicycle seat post (5/8" tubing) and notched it to reinforce the upper portion of the back of the frame, and welded it in. The rear lower bar was cut, bent upwards, notched and welded to the rear upper bar of the frame, and the back 6" was cut partway, and bent upwards and welded so it was straight. Everything was done with a hacksaw, 3" cutoff wheel and just eyeballing it.

I'm waiting on a new frame for my 250 so I can transfer parts to it so I can license and title it and start riding so I can get my license. Currently I only have a permit.

That's Tim said lol.

I wired in new front turn signals and swapped out to an electronic flasher. I highly recommend everyone who hasn't done so do it. Why they should is because whenever a bulb goes out, the other bulb will still continue to blink. I am using Tridon EL-12 flasher.

I also installed my left side X-race rearset finally. I'll write a review/install sometime later.
