So I know the last 2 owners of this 1984 Honda Goldwing Aspencade 1200. The recent owner was looking to sell it CHEAP!!!, it's in great shape, new tires, fresh oil change, etc... I and the best part is it only has 32k miles!!!!!!!

Being that I've always ridden either sport bikes or standards, I was unsure if I'd like it, so he offered to let me borrow it for a day to see if I'd like it, and I did.

So I pulled the trigger on it, and now it joins Phoniex and Serenity as part of the stable.

Worse case if I don't like it, and can flip it in the spring time, I and make money on it due to I paid less than half of book valve.

I just need to name it, if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Spoiler: I'm working on another project, and it's another EX500 keep an open eye for it, I've called it.......

Cool

I thought I was going to keep my completed project GL1000, but after riding it to local vintage meets and maneuvering it among my other bikes in my garage.. It's just too much weight for me to enjoy it.
Posted it up for sale and sold within 2 weeks, buyer had it shipped to Sweden:

I sold it off to get a lighter Honda touring rig: 83 GL650..

Thats a big negative good buddy, mine doesn't have that option

I must say the more I ride it, the more it's growing on me, the only downside is the OEM windscreen is too short for me, as the wind hits me right on the nose.

No worries, I have the taller one on ordered.

I've done the LED headlight bulb already, and looking to replace the other bulbs as well. I would like to do the MOSFET R/R upgrade if possible.

If you put a Windjammer on it I'm going to find out where you live.

WHEW!!!!

I saw one of those monsters at my local motorcycle salvage yard a month or so ago. I can't believe people actually attached them to their bikes.
If you have to go that route just buy a nice 67 Chevy Chevelle convertable, 327, Muncie four speed - you don't need a motorcycle.

Well, you can't say the guy isn't ambitious. I think you have to be 6'10" tall to ride this baby. I'm not even sure it's anatomically possible to ride this bike - for more than 25 miles. "Just give me forty acres and I'll turn this rig around". I always loved the roar of a VW four at sundown.

Do you think he waves?
