Ipod nano 8 GB

Hi all-

So I got an e mail from apple saying that there was a recall on the 1st generation Ipod nano. After searching the basement, I found mine and mailed it back.

In return, they mailed me a brand new current generation Ipod nano 8 gb. It isn't in factory retail packaging, and they never sent headphones or a charging cord, but the ipod itself is packaged with the protective cover on the screen. It is silver in color.

$100 shipped priority mail

i still have my first gen ipod nano that runs damn fine.
Not aware of the recall...will worth shits for fanboys collector since now i am one of the few that still have it

Only iPod Touch 2G and up do A2DP Bluetooth.

I fixed a 2GB nano 1G and 2GB nano 2G last week for a coworker (password and water damage). I told her about being able to get one replaced with the recall. Doesn't sound like she plans to though.

I was glad I got the recall notice. I had given the ipod to a friend and it broke, but she still had it in her basement. I found it and shipped it back for a new ipod. I was happy and ended up ebaying the one on this thread for a hundred and some. Not bad.
