14 liter (3.7 gallon) fuel tank? Why limit the bike so much out of the gate?

Is it going to the american market? Said it's designed for the european market.
It's not a true cross plane, that would be improbable with a tripple. Doesn't do anything for me, if I wanted a tripple i would do it right and get a Triumph. |

No wonder it looks generic and disapointing, it's a budget bike.
I'd rather pay more for a triumph for the better looks, heritage and passion behind it. There is a reason why budget japanese bikes are labled "jap crap" here, the ninja being a marginal exception in terms of bang for buck. |

This article makes it sound like it will be here in the US in October. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/649/16...irst-Look.aspx It's definitely not as purty as a Street Triple. Can't wait to see how it compares. Now make the R6 a triple! |

I like the looks, actually; I never have been able to stand Triumph's headlights. The Yamaha is also one of the only bikes I'd actually lop the rear fender off of; that rear would look awesome!
