Tool Kit

When I bought my bike it didnt have to tool kit. I am wondering what is a list of tools to have 1) to keep with the bike and 2) to do basic maintenance? Thanks!

Metric sockets and wrenches.

Everyone's tool box is an accumulation of years of experiences. Thus, everyone's tool box is different.

However, what comes in the basic tool kit, IIRC, is pliers, open ended wrenches, screw drivers, an axle wrench, spark plug wrench (the OEM tool makes it SO easy to get them in and out) and I think that's it really. I added a cheap pressure gauge too.

Thats the good thing about having absolutely no mechanical ability whatsoever. I could easily remove the toolkit in order to fit the alarm in the back without worrying about needing them .
