I know this thread is old but this song is so motorcycle appropriate it had to be included. Plus it's just a great song.
Flirting with Disaster - Molly Hatchet.

Mood plays a big part, but what a cool thread!
Best cruising song - Anything you Synthesize by American Dollar...heard this song for the first time while carving aesthetically scenic corners on the Cherohala Skyway in the Smoky Mountains. It was one of the more meaningful moments in my life. Best adrenaline pumping song - Anything by Tool That's all I've got for now. When I have more time, I'll list more favorites.

I'm a little hyper to start with so I usually listen to mellow songs when I'm not listening to rippen songs but I don't listen to any songs when riding motorcycles. I do listen in the car tough. Now there are motorcycle songs and car songs but they usually suck, however there are a few that's OK:
Ride on- AC/DC Go Faster-Black Crowes Love is a Sickness- Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Pink Cadillac- Bruce Springsteen Bullwinkle- The Centurions Police on my back-Clash Hot Rod Lincoln- Commander Cody Blister- Gary Moore and Cozy Powell Panic in Detroit- David Bowie Route 66- Depech Mode Roadhouse Blues-Doors Midnight Highway- Frank Marino Train- Glenn Hughs and Tommy Bolin Road Runner- Humble Pie The Last Race- Jack Nitzsche Freeway Jam- jeff Beck Big Block- Jeff Beck Roy's Toy- Jeff Beck Highway Child- Jimi Hendrix Lonesome Road Blues- Joe Bonamassa So Many Roads- Joe Bonamassa Motorcycle Driver- Joe Satriani Gasoline-Kinkin Harold Ride- Lana Del Rey Motor City is Burning- MC5 Road Runner- The Modern Lovers Alice- Naughty Sweeties I'm in Love with my Car- Queen Two Lane Blacktop- Rob Zombie Man Machine-Robbie Williams Highway Child- Rolling Stones Nazi Driver- Soundgarden In My Car- Tito and Tarantula Motorcycle Girl- Tito and Tarantula Low Rider- War Arrested For Driving While Blind- ZZ Top But my all time favorite is, Beep Beep- The Playmates

I had Simple Minds' "Don't you forget about me" stuck in my truck cassette player for a few months. It can drive you crazy!
