[visordown.com] - Suzuki set to launch 110cc Lets scooter

SUZUKI will soon be launching the new Lets scooter in India, with dealers already taking deposits on the bike.

The new scooter will cost Rs. 47,000 (£458) and be powered by a 112cc single-cylinder, four-stroke air-cooled engine, with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) gearbox.

The engine will make 8.7hp at 7,500rpm and 6.6ft.lb of torque at 6,500rpm, returning a claimed 175mpg. It uses new Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology to improve fuel efficiency by reducing the amount of power lost through the drivetrain.

Fitted to the Lets are 10” steel wheels with tubeless tyres. The scooter weighs 98kg and has a 5.2L fuel tank, giving it a theoretical range of 200 miles.

The scooter will be available in black, silver, red, blue and white.
