This week I converted my fuel lines from 1/4 inch to 5/16. I need the larger hose so I can run methanol or E 85 for fuel with nitrous.

I filled her up to the brim, a garage is selling fuel at £1.10 a litre which I think is $7.92 per gallon which is very good value for here.

I took her to the self washer at the garage, gave the engine block a really good clean in prep for the anti corrosion stuff I have.

I gave her a decent coating of ACF 50 to all the metal and engine block, excluding brakes, and rode her for a few hours as you need to burn the excess off, smokey as hell but she should be protected from salt and corrosion all winter now.

I can't praise this stuff enough right now http://www.acf-50.co.uk/motorcycle.htm

Did a lot of touch-up detailing from a standing drop (courtesy of my family ), with some chipstick, black wax, and a lot of elbow grease, after my friend's dad (a motorcycle mechanic) ensured that it was mechanically safe and sound.

nope, I was confused too. But after some research, it seems like there's other FI bikes that just rely on open loop and a map to fuel.

Yikes. Yeah. I got lucky, aside from the cosmetic damage. It's probably for the best that it was such a tiny bike that got dropped. I can't imagine what would have happened if it were my uncle's Harley.

I HATE riding in the fog... I have done it now a couple of dozen times (commuting from east bay to central valley, through the farm land) and I'd rather ride in the rain than the fog... I end up having to ride with my visor up and that's not fun at all...

Yeah, even with my anti fog visor on, it was still fogging up a slight bit. The mist was heavy enough that I got to use my winter glove thumb wiper. **** works perfect.

The anti-fog does not work well in the fog, I have found out... LOL! The problem is that the water condensates on the visor rather than hitting it and rolling off (like rain), making it 'stick' better and making visibility pretty much nil... I do really need to get one of those thumb wipers though, I know that would help quite a bit!

There's still meat on the right side of the tires, run the same roads but go the other way, burn out the right side too.

@rojoracing53, are you seriously spinning the rear that much on exit or is it a wheel alignment issue?

Keep on finding pieces/chunks of glass in the rear. Luckily they're not deep and I can pick them out of the tire with my hands. Will be monitoring my pressures closely though for any signs of leaks.

I'm just that bad A$$, just ask the group of 600&1000RR I passed on Sunday. They caught back up after I pulled over and told me they could see my cords I told them every 250 Moto drifter uses his cords because it gives a more uniform power slide.

I sent the pic to my old tire sponsors and they just laughed and said "only you are that hard on rears"

Michelin power ones 150 rear 120 front, I just ordered a set of the road 3's to get me through the winter then back to these for next spring.
I can testify that they a good for going much faster then anyone should go in the street right till the cords start to show. Check out my YouTube channel same as my handle here, the vid going up Hamilton chasing "Newbee"(barf rider) on the white R-1 is when the cords where showing by the time I got to the junction. Kinda brings new light to the street rider saying there tire is to worn out and they can't find traction, I say go by a 250 and run it to the cord(don't try this at home kids)

john hamilton at cvma is equally tiny and i blame his consistent ability to ride 5 seconds faster than me on his concentrated stature. maybe also his accent.

I finally cleaned the damn thing

Looks super shiny. Noticed so many imperfections on my fairings though. Down the road I'll definitely be purchasing a full fairing kit to replace the stockers.

Mounted new tires Michelin Pilot Road 3's and laughed at my old tires. Added some plastic shims to my rear sprocket carrier so remove the slop(2 miles and I already love the difference).

Flipped my front rotor because it was super warped, theory is it will start to warp back the other way and prolong its life. Yes the pads will have to be reseated and I can already feel the lack of initial power until they do.

Front is a 110/70ZR-17 & the rear is a 150/70ZR-17

Got brake-checked by a hummer. Left a good 20ft skid on the freeway.

I need a new rear tire super bad. Later, in the rain, I pretty much just slid my rear through corners. It leaks air like dongs and is all but squared off.

Edit: Just bought a sport demon for the rear! Let's see how the reviews hold up. It was a toss-up between them and the BT-45s and the latter were not available on motorcycle-superstore soooooo yeah, easy choice.
