Will a 750 front left peg bracket fit my 250?

Hi, I had a little 5mph crash in a sandy merge lane. Broke my shifter bracket/front left foot peg stay. 35011c/35063a superceded by 35063-0079

Do you guys think this will fit my 2004 ninja 250?

This is the proper part for the 250, but it's expensive and I only need that little bracket.

Well, I got a great idea and emailed the guy that was selling it. He said no, they are different. /thread
