Bad driver & bad rider. Guess who gets hurt...

Link to original page on YouTube.

I think both riders are quite new to riding.

Things he did wrong:
* Major lack of body protection
* After having observed the poor driving skills of the silver car driver he didn't keep a good distance behind her.
* When he was planning on over taking her he choose a lane position that put himself very close to her car.
* When she started changing into his lane and having already put himself in a bad position relative to her car he opted to grab a handful of front brake instead of swerving to the right.

Things he did right:
* Red boxer shorts. Good choice of colour.

What was that???
OK someone drives near you, so you flop on the ground. Then blame the girl. Then sit around for an hour ????? Then decide to ride home.

1 grow up and learn to ride a motorcycle
2 sell motorcycle. Idiots should stay off two wheels
3 Stay home.

What a squid. I laughed at the description...a "1993 f4i" lol.

Props to the new rider for braking properly and not running over the squid.

I shouldn't laugh at other people's pain...but I did. That was hilarious. You gotta be tough, if you're gonna be stupid.

His first day with his bike license and he takes the lead on the ride instead of following a more experienced rider.

i played the part right where she switches lanes over and over and over and...over.

if he simply locked his rear brake, why the hell did his rear tire tweak out left/right so fckn hard? Ive locked my rear a number of times (on purpose to get used to the feeling) and ive never had that happen. Also whats up with his right leg lol.. it almost instantly launches out to the right and way off the pegs/fairings.

clearly the driver of the car was unpredictable from the start so why not make the smart decision and keep distance.

not so bright

After your comment I too have now watched it over and over from 50 seconds on! I think I figured it out.

You hear the engine rev up high about the time he hits the deck. You also see the tail end of his bike jump and skip out... it's not a progressive slide out. This tells me that it was the force of the engine driving the wheel that made the wheel jump out. I think if he had just grabbed a ton of rear brake then -- like you said -- it wouldn't have launched out so hard. He probably hit the front brake hard lightening the rear wheel while simultaniously grabbing a hand for of throttle. When he released the front brake, the rear wheel probably bit the ground hard, which combined with a bit of steering input caused the bike to skip around like it did.

That's just my theory!

Failed to observe the 15 MPH warning sign.
He would have never hit the pavement had he been going slower. All that had to happen was traffic at the light to be backed up and stopped in both lanes further back. At his speed he still would have had to panic stopped and hit something.

It also looks like he sped up as if he was going to block the car as it was crossing over the solid white line towards the start of this video.

You read it wrong, the guy with the GoPro had just got his license, and as you can see he was keeping his distance and such. His friend (squid) was the idiot.

It's funny because she talks to the guy picking up the bike, as if he was the one that crashed, before realizing that the guy lollygagging around in pain was the one who crashed. I guess it's not so bad; she had a 50% chance to get it right.

The best part was "breakdancing". It automatically wins and looks like everyone will live to ride another day.

Wait, so he's talking about her not wanting to go through her insurance, when what I saw was a single vehicle accident, caused by the idiot on the bike trying to get too close to another vehicle, and then freaking out when the absolutely predictable happens. So, that would be your insurance, not hers, dumb ass.

And then he's complaining that she sends EMS to the wrong location, what's EMS for? That little booboo on your arm? Grow up, if you want to ride a bike in no gear you better be prepared for that sort of thing.

I find it funny that at the end he decides to put ATGATT at the end of the video. He obviously knows the slogan, so if he/they had just followed it he wouldnt have those pretty rashes.
