Fine throttle cable adjustment assembly broken.

I was messing with the zip-tie throttle DIY and I cannot figure out how you guys found enough space in the casing to put a zip tie without binding. I swear I messed around with it for hours and it always snagged on something. Once I remove the zip-tie, it snaps back instantly.

Anyways, that's not the only issue. While I was putting the casing back together, I cracked the adjustment assembly for the throttle cable. It stay's put and the throttle isnt noticeably different but why the hell did they not use metal. Also, how is that cable supposed to be routed? It appears to be in a poor spot because it definitely prefers to be bent around to get into the casing rather than straight like it is now.

Photo of cracked assembly below.

+1 on this.
No issues with binding though.
Mine snapped where it meets the housing, so I cant even do any adjustments.
Very ****** cable routing, puts tons of stress on this point.

Can someone tell me if the adjustment thingymabob is part of the housing (46091A) or part of the cable (54012).

Edit: nvm, the adjustor screws are part of the cable itself (54012-0210). If you break the adjustor youll need a new cable, not the housing.

Yea I found that out as well. I've just left the housing as is and do all the adjusting down at the engine end instead. Crappy design but luckily it's not that important.
