Best place to buy fender eliminator kit?

I gotta get an eliminator kit. Anyway as you know these years are always the hardest to get things for and usually more expensive. Found a couple places that I can buy from but wanted to check with you before I spent the $100. Thanks
Oh, my 250r is a 2001.

Personally just chop the OEM fender, I've done it to both my 250, and 500.

It's easy and free to do

Here a video for the EX500 rear fender chop, but it's similar to the Ninjette fender, and it should give you some ideas if you wish to keep the OEM turn signals, etc....

This is how I did my EX500 fender

That second link is amazing that's what I'll use. Now I have an excuse to buy a dremel. Probably only take me a couple hours if that. Bending the metal into place looks like it could be the hardest part so i think I'll buy 2 or 3 at $1 a piece and what's left I'll do my buddies bikes. Always feels good to do things cheap and on your own.

All else fails, you can, buy another OEM fender off eBay for cheap, and try it again for a lot less than, a fender eliminator kit.

That one of the reasons why I love these bikes, pieces and parts are dirt cheap, and plentifully, they made the same exact thing for 19 years. How many things does that happen to?

The best bang for your bucks is upgrading the suspension, and here again it can be done for cheap, and easy.

Below is some pics of both done. The trick is shortening the OEM turn signals, here's a link that works for both Ninjette and EX http://www.ex-500.com/wiki/index.php...k_Turn_Signals

Bikes look sweet man. I'll make sure to read both links over and over until the weekend lol. And as someone who's recently had to buy parts some are super easy to find. Finding a gas tank was a pain and I'm still looking for front headlight fairings for the 2001. But some parts yes, all over. Fuel tanks are in awful shape and overpriced. I got lucky and found a beautiful one and paid $100 with shipping.

@Ghostt so essentially all I'm doing is removing the spacer from the stock TS's?
I bought the bike for $100 and the story behind it is a great one. The DMV just nailed me the other day for title transfer/plates/sticker to the tune of $160. This would be a great cheap way to eliminate my fender! I really appreciate it again. Going to wait til I got the bike home it's been at my buddies shop waiting to get the work done on it that it needs. Just needs an ignition and carb rebuild. Just got my left and right side fenders in today! She's very naked and need a couple more pieces of plastic and I'll be completely satisfied. The tank is red and so is the fender plastics. So I went with side farings of a '98 250 it has the Honda coloring scheme I love with the red and midnight blue. Oh it also needed a new tank and I got a great one off eBay for $100 with shipping. I've seen junk tanks going for $250! Anyway can't wait to try the eliminator trick you showed me I'll have Rosie home Wednesday and can start personalizing her a little more. Thanks again buddy!

No problem, Good luck, and have fun with it, just remember to go slow, and take your time.

You can, always trim more if needed, can't put it back once it's done.

A few pictures of what I did to mine. Cost me about 30 bucks for the dremmel kit but I've used it so frequently for other small applications since, I'm amazed I didn't purchase one sooner. Take the advice of leaving some extra plastic, my first time trying to wrangle that tool had a steep learning curve.

I was gonna make a custom bracket but wasn't sure if it would look ugly, not too sure in my skills.

I also want one of those fender eliminator / license plates hide gadget like this one 007plate.com but they are a bit pricy
