Women's Hot Weather Pants

So I've been looking around for pants for a while because I am *dying* in my leathers.

I'm kind of leaning toward the Scorpion Savannah because I like the big ass reflective white patches or the Joe Rocket Alter ego pants because they would zip and then attach to my jacket.

Any reviews on hot weather? Mostly everything I found was regarding fit, and right now the only thing I care about is heat stroke.

5'6", kinda small and curvy. I still wear mostly juniors clothing because that's what fits.

For the sake of guys everywhere, get the savannahs. LOL

Seriously, although im a guy and never been (edit) IN the women's scorpion gear, I use a mens scorpion jacket, and it works great even in the super hot georgia summers where temp regularly hit triple digits. Most of the scorpion clothing has great ventilation. The nice thing is that they include zip out liners for cooler weather.

I just ordered Joe Rocket Cleos (and jacket). They come tomorrow, I'll let you know what I think.

If the other Joe Rockets would zip to your jacket, these would too.

I'm just thrilled we finally have a women's hot pants thread. Long overdue.

I know, right? Every time I see this thread title, I read it as "hot womens leather pants".

This reminds me of the grampa grammar thread.

I have the Scorpion Hellina pants. If you have the vents open and you take out the liner, it's wearable in the heat (I live in Ga, and we've been in the mid-upper 90s). I don't think anything is going to be very comfortable in that kind of heat, even if we rode in just our skin!

I've been looking for pants for my wife to ride in. She's 5'4" and a size 0. What waist size should I be looking at? Moto gear is sized in inches like men's sizing. I don't understand why women's sizes need to be all complicated

There's a size zero? What would a woman smaller than your wife wear, negative sizes?

Been looking at the Scorpion Savannah pants for a while now but held off and tried locating pics of people wearing the white and balck ones. I little hesitant ordering them and having them look weird on. So if any one has pics, please share

It's EXTREMELY uncomon for women to be that small. The average US size is an 8.

Bonnie: http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showp...00&postcount=1 there's a thread with a member wearing them.

My wife has a pair of Olympia Airglide 3 over pants. She is between a size 2 and 4 in most gear, and the 4 fit her well with either pants on or armor shorts. Being a woman .. she complains a lot, especially about motorcycle gear. "Helmet strap feel weird. Jacket neck is stiff. Gloves make my palms sweaty"; And so on. But I've yet to hear a complaint about the pants, and we've ridden together these last few days in here in TX when it peaked at over 100.

Okay so I caved and bought the Savannah Pants from Phat Performance Parts. I'm a little nervous but they had good reviews and after using the code HDFORUMS I got another 5% off which made them ~$131USD free shipping. I usually buy from Motorcycle Superstore but they didn't have my size.

I'll have to update with info/pictures.

I got the black/white/gold but it's on back order. Should be about another week before I get them.

Wondering if you've received your pants yet and whether you like them. I'm curious what you thought and what to expect since I've ordered a pair; all black for me but soooo wanted the black/white/gold, too. Will also post up pics if I can get some decent ones taken (read: no fatass pics).

I scrolled through this entire thread and still no pictures? I feel cheated.

That being said, I wonder how the ladies feel everytime they create a thread just to have it hijacked by the guys complaining about no pictures.

Got the pants finally last Friday. They didn't fit. I'm in the process of exchanging them. I loved them walking around my apartment though!

I got mine in yesterday and they're great! I'm really glad I ordered a size larger than I normally wear, and they're long so I have to wear really high heels with them at work just to keep the bottoms from dragging around, but otherwise, they're fantastic!

I know they're mesh and supposed to be cooler, but they're still very hot in my opinion. Then again, I live in NW Florida and it's hotter than hell down here right now. But definitely something to keep in mind. I'm still super excited to have them and wish I'd bought them sooner.
