Point Lookout, Saint Mary's county MD

I am all excited b/c it was the first ride I went on for my own pleasure! But it was blazing hot and I was itching to ride. So I decided to go south to the end of the penensula of the Potomac River, Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay. Once I got to the state park the heat subsided and it turned out to be a really nice ride! There is a bit to see along the way from the civil war, especially if you want to stop. I came across an Amish horse and buggy as well!

First ride out for yourself? Nice! Point Lookout is beautiful. And I'm sure it was much cooler there than anywhere else. This weekend was brutal.

Never been down that far...I always make that right and go to the Base at St Inigoes.
Always thought about riding down there but that bridge scares the piss outta me!

That's a nice route. There are a couple of groups that ride that way on the weekends religiously.

Well i did look for some photos after the game and it does look nice indeed. You people have a huge country and many choices to go for a ride i guess...
