Ninjette Newbie, Riding Oldie

just a short hello to forum members. i'm on kauai, hawaii and have a 2003 EX i've owned for 4 to 5 months. am the previous owner of a 700 Interceptor, and initially thought a 250 was just too small and underpowered for me to enjoy. but a good deal presented itself, and i got the bike for $1,500 with only 1,800 island miles on it. took a test ride around the block and realized...hey, this could be FUN! bought it the next day and took to the canyon that afternoon, and have looked like this

ever since.

Steve,

It was very considerate of you to detune your ninjette prior to testing it with Kelly. I think if your 1st-gen had taken him, his head would have literally exploded on the spot. You're a compassionate man.

Welcome to the family. I went from a 750 Norton to an 08 Ninja 250. Definitely a lot more fun.
