[webbikeworld.com] - Bike Of The Day: 2005 Ducati 999 ? Custom

This Ducati 999 is no ordinary motorcycle, having undergone a professional rebuild over an 18-month period by the experts at Ducati Alton, Ducati Coventry, Motorcycle Wiring Specialists, and Image Design Custom. The result is a stunning homage to the endurance racers of the 1980s, complete with John Player Special-inspired black and gold paintwork that is sure to turn heads.

The modifications made to the bike are extensive and carefully crafted. Along with the new bodywork and gel seat pad, a custom wiring loom has been installed, and the suspension has been upgraded.

The bike also features a powerful remapped 998cc V-twin engine that delivers an impressive 136bhp and 73lb-ft of torque to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual transmission. And let’s not forget the Termignoni exhausts with Spark silencers, which add an extra layer of excitement to this already impressive machine.
