H2R Trackday

Finally making out to the track this year - parts of Harris Hill Road track were repaved about a month ago, so it might only be really bumpy, versus too damn bumpy. Everyone says the bumpy track makes you faster on smoother tracks - we'll see about that one. Weather is finally not 100+ - Saturday should around 90. Anyone nearby been to H2R?

Had a blast - it is a great track on the 250. Of course I was passed in the straights, but was able to keep up through the turns with no problem. My body position sucked at first - I blame it on the upright sitting position of the stock bike. I didn't drag a knee, but my toe sliders are scuffed - and my "chicken strips" are only about 5mm wide on both sides of the stock IRC. After getting some input on me body position from my brother, Mom, and Dad when they stopped by to bring me lunch.

It did in fact ruin riding the streets, and I suspect my wallet will be lighter from here on out.
