Jetting for cold weather
I have my jetting set for running K&N pods and was wondering, since I’m going to try to ride a few times a month this winter, if I should change the jetting. I can tell it runs slightly lean to where I notice it, but doesn’t affect rideability. If it won’t possibly damage anything, I’ll leave the jetting as is. Just don’t really want to pull the fairings and tank to do it if it’s not necessary. What do you guys think?

Turning out pilot-screws 1/4-1/2 turn should be all you need.
Have the plugs been removed? If so, there's bendable adjustme tools you can reach in there to do i |

Yes plugs out. I’ll try that, it feels kinda lean in the midrange though, wish getting the needles was as easy as turning the screws. Either way, I’ll richen up the idle mixture. If it’s not going to harm anything I’ll probably end up leaving the needles as they are, unless I have the tank and plastics off for another reason.

There's a lot of overlap in the adjustments. The pilot screw affects mixtures well into partial throttle mid-range.
