Sometimes, if you do an advanced search and put your search to title only, you get good results:

motostance, 69.99usd at motorcycle superstore

I brought one and its decent for the price
I don't own any other rear stands, so I can't really compare it.

But for a 250r, i think it's good enough.

that's the low pro one that they sell. with a stock tire, it barely lifts my bike off the ground. with a 150 in the rear, yea it doesn't lift it up.

they sell a cheaper one piece black rear stand. that thing will lift the bike a good foot off the ground. also you can buy front fork adapters for it, and turn it into a front stand. only negative is it, requires quite a bit of effort to use. but its ~$25. you pay for what you get.

I had the Harbor Freight low profile stand, and I had a 150/60R17 tire on the rear, and it had no problem lifting the bike off the ground. Not a bad stand for the price; the only problem I had is that its not very stable, but I'd always put a brick or two on bottom of the stand when working on the bike and everything was cherry. Just my two cents.

Pit Bull is worth the price, and support the sport more than any of the other manufacturers. Cheaping out on a stand is a great way to find a bike on it's side.

True story. Haven't had a problem with any pit bull stands after years of extremely frequent use.

May not be super cheap but this is what I have and I have no doubt it'll support whatever you throw at it. My other gripe is that I didnt purchase the front stand at the same time. I guess i'll just have to use ratchet straps instead. If you can swing the cash, you wont be disappointed. That thing is strong.

Great for me. This was over a year ago when I bought my rear stand from them. I didnt really need to interact with them at all. Just ordered and it arrived. It really is built like a tank so i doubt you'd have problems with it. FYI, if you dont have spools already be sure to get them because I'm not sure they come with the stands. Also the front stand is only good if you dont need to work on the forks since it uses the forks to lift the wheel up. Otherwise they sell the front fork attachment for their front stands.

I plan on ordering this set within the next couple weeks.
t-rex-racing

They seem to hold up and support the bike well according to the reading I have done.

That's the set I'm talking about. They have 2 types of front stands. The triple tree one is better. I havent tried the front stand but the rear stand is bullet proof. Becareful you dont accidentally kick it, it hurts like hell!

Harbor Freight has theirs on sales right now for $39.95 plus their labor day flier has a 20% off coupon on anything.Sale ends the 5th. I have one and it's a very stable stand, only problem I had was the first one I got had 2 right side holders, took it back and checked the second one before I left the store.
