They come in many odd numbers. The typical Ninja 250 guy buys CR31's. I bought CR33's, but I have more done than most.

mgentz...street or race? Are they "street" friendly?

Hows fuel economy? (or do you care?)

Your thoughts on how it runs now?

No choke, correct? Any difficulty starting when cold?

Is throttling more of a physical exersize than the CV's?

Thanks for your input.....I'm just trying to ascertain "streetability" in view of investment.

So far, I have only used them on the street. They are street friendly, if your bike is setup and cared for well, and you don't HAM fist it. the fuel economy is not bad, and I don't care. I think I was getting in the 40's.....but my bike uses a lot of fuel since I have a lot of work done to it so don't base your numbers on mine.

It runs and starts great when the valves are adjusted right, and cold starting is not too big of an issue if you set the idle to about 1800-2000 rpms when warm. the choke is a joke and almost unusable even with the smallest starter jets.

The spring is definitely harder than the CV's, but you get used to it or you get the lighter spring.

All-in-all I like them.
