help on LED strip location
So I am planning on getting some white LEDs that will turn amber when the turn signals are activated. While white they will act as DRLs. My original plan was to have them on the mirrors (since that is the most visible place) but I would like the wires as hidden as possible thus I came up with some other places to mount the LEDs. Could you help me decide which option (colors on the pic) I should I use from the given pic, much appreciated!

You mean green LEDs? The colors just respond to the placement not the LED color.

I would do the red and orange area; you just gave me a great idea . That would look great to have the blinkers in the headlights if they are bright enough. I already have blue LED strips on that line and they look cool but they are illegal to have while riding the bike. The only thing I'd be worried about is visibility if you put the strips in the headlight; even with my blue LED's the headlights drown out the color a lot.

Caps I thought of doing that spot to but then I felt like I was doing to many things that CThunder has done since I already hae his flushmount signals. Don't want to be stepping on his toes to much haha

If you're concerned about staying legal, check into Colorado laws. I would doubt it is legal to have red (or blue) lights on the front of a vehicle, but there are variations by state.

No worries on doing what I've done. Imitation is the best form of flattery after all . I stuck them there because I didn't want them on my head lamps. They're out of the way and are only visible when I turn my blinkers on. If you're doing it for looks & functionality, you may prefer a more visible location.

Lol no the LED's aren't red, the color refers to the position/location I should put them on my bike. The LEDs are amber with white daytime running lights. Definitely don't want red LEDs on my green bike. I guess I wasn't that clear and confusing everyone haha, could you add "Which position (color) should the LEDs go" to the poll maybe that will clear some of this up

I'm a fan of the yellow myself - my wiki entry gives ideas to hide the wires

Alright I think I am going to mount them to the mirrors just because that is probably the most useful place for them to be. Got the LEDs today and will get started wiring them up soon. They shouldn't look to bad on the mirrors.

I did have it on my mirrors, but shortly became annoyed with how I just could not stand the wires and look of it. Bought kind of thick ish wires so that was a mistake. I then decided to do it under my wind screen (which would be a good visual reminder your signals are on) at which time I noticed I needed separate grounds for the lights and for the turn signals. I still may do it under the windscreen depending on if I want to buy a clear double bubble (which I do, but don't have the money to spare). So...long way to say that I had something but have decided to put it off.
