Finally Upgraded from my 250r.

Its not that I don't like my 250, I still have it but I was burnt out on the carb and thats the whole reason my 250 is in the shop right now......carb cleaning from winter sitting. I know.. shoulda stored it better.. shoulda cleaned carb myself.. yea yea.. Im no mechanic nor ever wanna be lol.

Anyways.. please dont be mad..Ive always been a Honda fan ever since my childhood on my CR 80r elsinore.
My new to me '06 CBR 600rr.

Quite a huge jump from my little 250, thing was a blast on my 40 min drive on it to get home after I bought it. Especially never have ridden a real sport bike before. Took a few minutes to get used to the riding position and the throttle response. There is alot more power here.

Thanks, didnt realize the pics would be so grainy from my iPhone. I guess its because they are too big or something. When I get my Ninjette back.. Ill get some more pics of them beside each other outside.

I have to have the CBR taken to the shop too because its got 13k miles on it and needs to get the 12k service. Also it won't keep the battery charged so worst case.... it needs a new stator. I got a "fair" price on it..by no means a great deal.. but not a rip off either so this didnt come as a big surprise really that I'd need to get some work done to it.

Very Nice! I moved up to a Honda as well. Back injury could no longer do sport bikes. Will re-visit that in a year.

Looks clean! I can relate the Honda thing. I always had Hondas and I can remember quite vividly when I was about 13 how badly I wanted an Interceptor VF.
