Official worlds fastest ninja 250

So I go for a mellow group ride today and as I'm opening it up in a few areas I notice my readout flash triple digits so when we came to our next spot I checked to see what my max mph was for the day and this is what it says.

223MPH Lets see you top that suckas

no it just started during this last ride after i moved the magnet and completed the brake upgrade project. It still reads speed correctly but every once in awhile it flashes a triple digit and when I'm on the brakes it goes to zero Tomorrow when it's the shop I'll take a closer look and figure out whats happening with the sensor.

I bet the magnet magnetized the bolt in its former position and it keeps picking it up every now and then.

that's a good idea but it would only double the speed and unless my bike was going 106mph at the time I don't think that's it

I just hope my Koso gauge isn't dying on me

So you set it up with only one magnet? I would use as many as I could and input the settings accordingly. It's probably too jumpy for good calculations with only one magnet.

I'm having a hard time finding magnets that fit into the bolts is a problem. The one that I'm using now is a larger one ground down to fit.

I see. So you aren't using the kit's magnets. I know it's polarity-sensitive too, in case that might have something to do with it.

Mine did that when the bracket was loose.

What happens is the sensor reads the same magnet multiple times before it moves out of reach.
