Need help for a jetkit!!!

I have a 09 250 and it only has a yoshimura slipon. Im planning on getting a jet kit and a local shop said that i should go with a stage 1 instead of a stage 2. (I havent heard of a stage 1 for a 250) My question is if i get a K&N filter keeping the stock air box, and remove the snorkel will i be ok with a stage 2 kit? thankyou

Also according to this thing i have 7,565 unread posts so theres a big chance this may have been brought up before so sorry if it has.

who's going to install the jet kit? you need to do the same thing to the carbs as shimming to install the needles from the jet kit.

I was just gonna have the shop do it, and just shell out the money and make sure it gets done right.

its actually really easy to do, i have never worked on a bike before my 250 (worked on alot of cars) and i didnt have any problems with putting the jet kit in, shimming the needles would be even easier i suppose
you never know what you can do if u dont try
