FYI: Jet needles

If you are planning to build your own jetkit, you can buy the main jets anywhere, but you'll have a hard time getting needles. Well no more, you can buy all kind of size of needles here.

http://www.jetsrus.com/main_page.htm

You can also buy your jets there too..they basically have everything. If you pick the needles/jets you want..you'll end up spending like $30 for the set instead of $90 like I did (I didn't know at the time)...but now you do.

Thanks, John... awesome link.

I may be missing it, but I don't see any Keihin needles.

Kelly, I think all the needles are under the needle tab. I think they're all Mikuni, but all the sizes are there. One of them should be the same as the one FactoryPro or DynoJet uses.

Nice to see someone started using Jetsrus. Not sure of using mikuni in the keihin carb. But if its the right size then I don't see the issue. The problem is finding the proper needle. When assembling our jet kit we went through 6 different needles at $17 a piece for Keihins needles. Thank god now when we buy in bulk and direct from Keihin it is way cheaper.

I think if you give them a call, I'm sure they will help you search the right one or give them the size/ dimension and they will get one for you

If they do I would be amazed if they helped you search for one. Giving them measurements is another thing. Piecing together a proper kit costs you as follows $34 for the needles +$10 shipping (using Keihin which you can't get from Jetsrus), $15 for 3 sets of main jets (if you know your exact main jet you need and think you only need one set, you lie), $12 for new pilots, shipping $12. Total: $83ish if you assemble yourself with frustration and guess work. Buy FP for $89 you know what your getting plus all the tech support you could every dream of.

well shipping is charged regardless of where you buy..FP also charges shipping so don't even mention it.

If you get the measurement, you can order the needles at $11/piece x2 = $22
Main jet 108, 110 and 112 = $2/piece x3 x 2 sides = 12

so yes, around $34 something. FP kit does not come with pilot jet so don't even mention that....I have FP kit so i know.

inc: main jets, pilots, Celmat30 needles, clips, shims, float bowl allen screws, etc.

Going off what they have listed on their site. So no Pilots if you want. DJ doesn't have them.

Main jets thru Jetrus are $2.89 a piece. $17.34

I will mention shipping as you are unable to attain all parts from a single source to keep combined shipping I will retract the shipping from one source so $73. I won't buy the Mikuni fits in a keihin carb until that is 100% confirmed.

Needles $36 total for both

$62.34 total with guess work.

dude, i'm not sure what you're talking about.

you can buy main jets and needles from the same place...one shipping...like FP.
Jet's are 2.89/piece..you're right..
needles range from 6 to 11/piece...you only need 2 needles...so around $22 at most.
17.34 + 22 (worse case) = $40 + s/h
FP= $90 + s/h

that's $50 saving to buy a Monster radiator guard from Sportisi

The only place other than buy direct from Keihin (which I do) that has the right assortment of needles. You want a $6 price then ya you can get it when you order a 100 needles lol theres nothing worth arguing here so Jean your right you win I have zero idea about what I'm talking about.

Oh and the Monster Radiator guards are $65 Shipped
