Clip-ons

I'm looking to buy a good set of Clip-ons that dont require any modification to my fairings. I know the ones from shinto won't pinch but idk if they'll ship to the US anymore. If anyone can help with info I'd appreciate it.

i have woodcraft bars and rearsets. they're good. strong where they need to be.

the only gripe i have with them is their hardware. they come with stainless steel nuts and bots which is not bad, but for the price i think they should have spent the extra 10c and included powdercoated heads or something... i'm in very wet/salty ocean air and mine are starting to decline in quality after ~1.5ish years... (like any exposed metal does... hell even the painted metal rusts and has to be sanded and repainted far too often...) not really a big complaint seeing as how everything else that sits outside rusts...

there isn't much room to play with the positioning of them with stock body work though, but they can be made to fit fine with no rubbing or anything.

I also have the woodcrafts... they are a perfect fit with no modification needed for them to fit... I originally wanted the Shinto bars... but with the lack of reliability of that company it wasn't worth the risk to me.

Woodcrafts here. No complaints for the fitment or quality. I only wish the bike would accommodate more aggressive positions without modification.

I used the Vortex Racing clip ons mounted above the triple tree clamps. They don't rub at all. The only catch is you have to lower the front of your bike down a bit for them to fit. I love mine. Nice aggressive body positioning.

Loosen up a couple bolts, drop it down and tighten the bolts back up.

I've heard that clip ons with koso gauge are not working together, they touch each other when you roll the bar to the left end, there is no space left between them, has anyone experinced that before?

If you make it to the rally on Saturday you can check out my clip-ons. Maybe someone else will have some woodcrafts to compare.

I wish. Unfortunately I'll be working Saturday. My Sunday has opened up though cause my ex is going out of town with my daughter so now I can go to the Gap meet. Providing that it does not rain I will be there.

couldnt you do the same for the woodcraft clipon's.. just curious since they mount on the fork tube if the bike was lowered wouldnt it be able to mount above the triple tree also?

Just put a set of woodcrafts on for my ride this weekend. Once again woodcraft makes a great product just like the ones my other bikes

Very easy to install
Clean installation
