gps tracking on blackberry?

Hey guys, i was wondering if there is a way on either blackberry maps or google maps to set it to record your riding path?

What I enjoy the most about riding is getting lost and just going where the road takes me. Last time i did this i found a real cool spot, and it took hours of searching when i got home to find out where it was because i forgot the street name.

Has anyone done this? I would love to go home, connect my phone to the computer, and export the map with the line showing where i've been.

Don't upgrade to any android, if you want to use handsfree dialing via BlueTooth on your motorcycle!

ah, theres your problem. motorola. don't blame google for faulty hardware
even using the droids, its not hard. i think you need root though... (everyone should have root anyway... phones are next to useless without it)

my headset's call button is currently mapped to voice search, so i hit call, then say "call <person>" and wait a few seconds. ring ring!

edit: although i'm not sure if this would work with all the noise on a motorcycle... but anyway, enough thread jacking!

Just played with it a bit. Seems pretty cool. Actually I was trying to find my phone yesterday, so I logged in and saw it was at the supermarket parking lot in my car while my wife was picking up some food.

For Android users:

http://www.sportstracklive.com/

I have the sportstracklive "Speedometer" app installed but have not tried using it while riding since I don't have a mount or tank bag.

Did you download the "storm" version? I thought I saw something about it requiring a different file, plus you need to turn off GPS-A channel (I think?).

i think i have the storm version because i downloaded it right from the app store from my phone. Also i did go into settings but i didnt see anything about turning off gps. I read something like that too. There is a beta version for storm but when i put the link in my browser on the blackberry it couldn't download the file. When i do it from a pc however the jad file seems to download. Maybe I need to try to install with with the desktop manager.
