Installed my smoked Protons today

Thought I'd post up some updated pictures of the bike and some updated shots of my latest mod. Bought a set of Protons and smoked them. Also installed some 8k HID's. I've got Driven Clipons, Puig dark smoke DB, and black decals in the mail now. Next month I'm going to install a custom black Jardine GP1 system, K&N and jet the bike, so stay posted for more updates.

Looks good man, matches the theme of the bike well. I'm guessing you just put HID bulbs in the stock housing?

If you have ever seen the protons in person you will know you dont need front facing signals, they are super bright, even up front. I notice them more then the stock signals

Yeah, in the stock housing for now. I would like to retrofit a projector set-up at some point.

As for the brightness, yes the protons are very bright. That's why I was comfortable with tinting them.

I bought mine from Motorcycle Superstore. They only come in clear though.

The Protons are incredibly bright turn signals. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants bright, clean, and sleek flush mount turn signals; but why would you smoke them?! The point of getting Protons is to have the nice looking turn signals, while retaining the brightness required for other road users to notice you! I understand you want it to look sleek, but isn't that the reason you got flush mounts? Smoking any turn signals, especially flush mounts, will only make you less visible, which I think is far more important than the smoked looking "cool" factor.
