help me please lol

i have an issue with my ninja pre gen, it idles fine starts fine, but when i try to ride it it seems to have a rev limiter in all speeds, and it is erratic,it sounds like it is blip blip blip blip blip,i pull in the clutch and rev it up and it still blips then it will rev higher some times, i do notice that the fuel filter doesnt have much gas in it ,in the on position but seems to run better on reserve but still does a blipblipblipblipblip, and i have to feather the clutch at a low speed all the way home,i cleaned out my tank it was a lil rusty, but the fuel filter is really clean and i replaced it couple weeks ago, this problem just started two days ago,any advice would help thanks

I'm pretty new to this but I think you're on the right track - it sounds like fuel delivery. If the tank had rust or garbage in it, it could have gone to the carbs? Maybe clean the bowls and possibly the jets?

i dont think it is the carbs this time, i had cleaned the carbs 3 time already before cause rust made it to the carbs because of lack of good fuel filter, and it ran great after, but the filter is brand new and squeeky clean,i think the hose on the pet cock might be the culprit cause gas is trickling out to the filter very slow, on open or reserve, thanks for the reply i appreciate your time and knowledge

I'm thinking lack of knowledge in this case haha. Is there an RPM range where you begin to see the "blipping"?

uhh... are you sure its not actually hitting the rev limiter?

check your ground connections. maybe a loose ground wire? maybe a plug wire coming out? maybe the wiring to the coils is iffy.

Are you an ex-ninjetter because you can't get your bike to run?

He's soon to become one, if his bike blows up. It sounds like something is keeping his throttle open.
