An interesting Ride
So, tonight, I got rear ended.
Nothing too major, the kid (a friend actually) jumped out of his car right away to see if I was alright. No visual damage to the bike except a missing license plate screw. I also got to use the full breaking potential of the bike in a sudden freeway back up because of some road closing or crash. That was actually kind of fun. Anything I should be looking for after being rear ended? Thanks Ben |

I'd make sure the swingarm/rear tire/chain/everything in the back of the bike really are good.

Sounds like a rough day. Glad you're ok. I'd check to make sure nothing is cracked/damaged or out of alignment.

thanks guys, I will do those things.
Stupidly, I rode on the freeway after being hit. Everything seemed normal, but I will give it a once over tomorrow. |

Anymore details on what happened? Were you stopped at a stoplight?

It was at a stop sign. My friend said he was looking both ways when he was behind me because he was trying to find his way home. I think he was just subconsciously rolling forward.

I tell all my friends that just because we are friends don't assume I want to be rear ended.
