Pahrump invasion! SMMR with Ti2tt - September 28/29

Ti2tt will be taking over Spring Mountain on Saturday September 28th and 29th!!!

Come on out and have a great time with us!

Besides some outstanding track conditions and facilities, Ti2tt will be offering the following:

*1 on 1 instruction - Do lead/follow laps with our instructors and work on lines, references, and riding techniques!
*Sidi boots to demo - We've got lots of sizes! Interested in buying a set but want to try them out on the track first??? See us for details!
*Rev'it suits for rent - First time to the track and don't have a leather suit, or want to check out how incredible the suits are from Rev'it before you commit to buy one? Rent one from us for the day! We'll get you hooked up with the correct size suit for the day. These suits are practically new!
*Pirelli Tires - The fastest tires on the market come from Pirelli! They will be on hand to sell tires, help you out with tire pressures, flip tires if you need and anything else tire related.

I have yet to ride this track on the 250, and this time I will be taking the 250 only. Riding the 600 at this track is a lot of work (for me).

This track is smooth and clean. The track's (IMHO) is well suited for the Ninja 250 except for the back straight (LOOONNNGG) but that's where drafting comes in play.

Track provides showers and overnight camping. Also, within a mile or so there's a casino and tons of restaurants.

Everything points to some great weather, hope to see you out there!

Right- Yes! I'm going to try to anyways. I'm throwing in new clutch plates afterwork tomorrow and hoping that gets it running again. Would be my first time ever getting to ride a bike with horsepower [sort of] on a track if all goes well I don't remember pahrump at all since it's been 2 1/2 years since I've even seen a track map, but hoping it's decent for that!

But worst case, I'll bring out the ninja and revel in pictures of my new paint. Cause I'm vain like that. And I don't even feel bad about it

Whelp, clutch replacement SEEMED to go smoothly, but as I now can't get it to disengage, 99% chance I'm taking the ninja afterall. Someday I'll get to ride a bike on a racetrack with more than 30 hp. Someday T_T Still excited though! Even if I really, really wanted to take the SV

Boooooo. I'd offer to help you hide all your cardboard box forts before she gets there, but also a good chance my mommy will also be coming with me to the trackday so she can finally see that I'm not trying to kill myself.

HAHA...the GO FAST bits are in the rider, not the bike. But I am only bringing out the 250 this time.

Okay, so I've never been a fan of Spring Mountain Raceway. And maybe that's because I've always ridden it on the 600 and always found it to be a lot of work. <--I'm lazy...don't judge!

So being that this would be the last time we ride this track I wanted to make sure the 250 had its first and last experience.

OHMYFREAKIN'AYE!!! I couldn't believe how much fun I was having on the 250 at this track. The track felt like it was made for the 250 (with the exception of the back straight)! I've never had so much fun on this track until now. In fact, this track requires a lot more finesse than any track I've been to on the 250. I really regret not riding the 250 sooner.

Anyhow, I want to thank Ti2TT to putting out a great weekend. Weather was awesome! Really like the riders that attend Ti2TT's event's: No egos, pride, and hardly any red flags.

Guys/gals, if you have never been to Pahrump you need...no....you MUST ride the track before the end of the year. Motorcycles will no longer be allowed on this particular track, and will be transferred to the new config/track.



Oh and congrats to Tiff and Keith for winning FREE trackdays! Yup, they raffled off FREE trackdays and a season pass.

No bueno.

Finding more and more issues with my bike. I think my engine's probably done--bogs, backfires, and the exhaust now has a quarter size hole in the muffler.

I'll have it dyno'd this week. But I need to replace the exhaust, do a valve adjustment, and replace the front rim. Only gonna cost me another grand. *sigh*

The price you pay to look good. LOL

hahaha.. yea i feel ya. mine was bogging and backfiring. when i had the tuneup done they said i destroyed it and it was a bout to bust.
