i totaled my bike!...

in my dream!...

whew what a nightmare...
i went over a big patch of sand...i mean sand box deep...but i had sense enough to just throw away the bike before the big slide, on my feet, and saw my bike go end over end...bike breaking in half that will not buff right out...

first thought was how did i not see that molehill of sand...then i started thinking of taking my aftermarket parts, gear indicator, speedo healer, slipon, etc....for my next bike...

i was thinking this better be a dream and then i realized it was...happened at 7:00 because i looked at the clock...

guys and gals did you have a similar nightmare?...

My dreams are more like hitting that sand hill then wheeling sideways in 4th gear to save it and all the women & children in the village!

I think you're underestimating the power of buffing.

Cant say Ive had the crashed in sand dream, but it turns out that a lot of pilots (myself included) have a dream about taking an airplane off from a city street.

Terrible dreams... I have had many.

Things that have worked for me in no particular order

-avoid dairy for a couple hours before bed. Cottage cheese has the ability to conjure the strangest (negative) dreams

-wear thick and heavy wool socks to bed. REI 'expedition' socks are the absolute best wool socks in existence these days

-avoid stressful media/movies/TV for several hours before bed

-fall asleep while reading a good book. Again, nothing stressful or dramatic

-dim the lights significantly a half hour before bed to inspire natural melatonin release as the body adjusts to the environment and prepares for sleep
