New 600 Mile Service coming up.. Help! :)
So, I'm about 200 miles away from my first "break-in" service and the dealership wants to charge me $160 for it.. No thanks, I'll do it myself. Can someone with experience tell me exactly what I need to do to service this puppy myself?

$160 does seem like a lot for a basic service but at the same time, that is $160 bucks worth of pointing a finger at someone else god forbid something does break.
Not sure how doing your own service effects warranty but in my experience any excuse for a dealer to get out of a warranty is a good excuse to them. |

Yeah. It doesn't effect the warranty to change the oil and filter and lube the cables and chain. Preventative maintenance. Though, some mechanics say I'll need a valve adjustment.

Yeah, the valve adjustment is not in the 600 mile service. Not at all. Thanks for all the info everyone. Boom! Kooshbox out
