I've never intentionally named a vehicle but my Silver 2005 EX-250 became "Unique" or "The Unique" when I finished modifying it with fuel injection.
I just found myself starting to think of the bike with a name attached to it. |

After almost three years together, I've finally named my bike, Perigee.
Technically, this is the point in an object's orbit around where it is closest to the earth. To me, that's the innermost point of a curve, a turn, a twist. It's also the counterpart of Apogee (the furthest point of orbit around Earth), which was also my favorite game developer when I was a kid. Yes, I'm a nerd. I'm also a scientist by trade, so it works

My bike's name is Zenith.
The "zenith point" is the point directly above your head in the sky. I liked that word ever since I took an Astronomy class early last year and I thought it'd be a cool name for my bike. I don't know what the zenith point has to do with my bike, but I like the word Zenith.

My bike is named "Zen". When riding her I'm in an meditative state and in my own little world. Just her and I cruzing the road and facing whatever lays before us together as one. She looks out for me and I look out for her.

I saw it before, but I named mine Serenity. Because it brings me sweet serenity, also, it takes all serenity from others now because of her exhaust. Originally, it was too good to be named, but then serenity came to mind and I guess I just really like that.

So I saw it fitting to call my bike, Kate (The Kawasaki). |

Need to change the name of my bike. One of the new models of small car is called Sonic.
Ducky the Kwaka was suggested. Funny yes but umm, no. "Mr. Giggles" was suggested by my Bigger Half. He said I've always got the world's biggest grin on my face after a ride. That would work in an evil clown sort of way. |

I named mine's Sheila. Australians use Sheila as a slang word for "girl" (I'm not Australian). I was just looking for a creative way to call it "girl".

She's called Otohime ( 乙姫 ), after a goddess in Japanese mythology.
Japanese: because the Ninjette is a Japanese bike. Female: because it's a Ninjette. This particular goddess is said to have transformed into a dragon after giving birth to a son. A little known fact is that she later transformed into a Ninjette! Picture by entei |

I have got the name for my bike Warthog. lol weird yes cool defiantly. so here is why...yes you can get a 600 1000 or 1400cc bike they all go fast and are just fine but then there is the 250 doesnt go as fast but still goes fast. and it gets the job done. and it gets it done well. now lets relate this to milliatary aircraft. yes the F-15 F-16 F-18 and F-22 are fast and do just fine but you got the A-10 Warthog wont go supersonic. but it will take out a tank. The A-10 Warthog is my favorite plane. it was deseigned to be a tough rugged kick butt plane and it does that job very well, and lets be honest they built the plane around the biggest gatling gun to ever be put in a plane. I am big into planes lol that is why I am naming my bike after one and what better then one of the coolest planes out there...that and I "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" tag sitting in my riding back pack and it will go on the key ring of my bike.

I just left mine as "RC". It's a little too butch to give it a girls name and it would be kind of awkward to name it after a dood. Plus it works with my user name Da RC!

Bolt 2, as in Snowball 2. My POS Snowball 1CBR250RR died after 3 months (she died, she died...) so I didn't get an opportunity to really get attached.
Thus, Bolt 2. Balthezar - if he's feeling faggy. |

My Green Ninja was named "Kermit"
The Red NT-700V is named "Merlot"--a mellow comfortable ride. Reminds me a lot of my old BMW R-50.

I'm still feeling out her personality, but leaning towards Equinox (Nox for short)... the darkest (shortest) day of the year.
Works for a black bike, I think.
