Most people either raise their needles by shimming them up with washers, or they buy a jet kit from Factory Pro or Dynojet that include custom, adjustable needles.

Buy individual ones there. I believe people use a 110-118 main with no airbox and aftermarket exhaust. Search around the DIY threads and youll find the info Posted via Mobile Device |

My mistake, words are hard (at least on a cell phone). Here is a little info on *needles* in case you haven't seen it yet.
The DIY http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9465 Other info http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Ninja_2...le_Information Edit: Not sure why I thought jets, as I am actually in the middle (taking a dinner break) of shimming myself, but some recommend changing to a 100 main jet also. I will likely be doing that after I see how the shimming works out. |

Here's the thing. You're in the mountains at roughly 6000 feet elevation correct? Make sure to test the different sizes of main jets back to back. You're high enough that you might actually be better with the 98's. It's all relative. Definitely test the 100's though, and stick with the ones you like best |
