Speedo Removal

I tried searching without any luck thus far...

In the interest of tearing out anything unnecessary for the track, I'll of course be removing the speedo, but I'm wondering, does anyone make a spacer that you can use to replace that rubber thingy with the speedometer mechanism? I've done a ton of searching and can't seem to find anything like that available.

If you are talking about the wheel spacer, just unscrew the cable. It will come right out after that.

They have been made. I have one on my bike. Sorry I don't know who made it.

Yeah, I meant replacing that entire rubbery spacer with something else. Leaving it there just seems un-clean, haha.

No worries, I figured if they were out there they'd have to be pretty low volume production.

This winter I'll probably make some captive spacers for the 250 and do something about getting rid of the speedo assembly thing. Need to look at it again though.
