Arrow WTB: Front Axle Wheel Spacer

If anybody has a spare front wheel spacer could you contact me please?

Just to clarify, not looking for the speedo assembly spacer but rather that metal spacer that goes on the rotor side of the wheel.

thanks!

Oh sorry. I checked the OEM parts catalog and it looks as if they are in fact different on the pre-gen's.

yeah, it's a little surprising but the wheels are different so I guess the whole setup is a bit different.

OK, so who out there has a newgen wheel spacer taking up valuable room in their garage??? hey? hey?

that'll do! most of the axles on ebay are going for 20 to 40 bucks (pricing for misc ninja parts are all over the map).

This one's $5 plus shipping. Good find I owe you one!

The problem with that particular seller is that they charge way too much shipping on all their little parts and have no info about combining shipping. I asked them about it and they basically said to make the purchases and trust them to quote me a decent combined shipping price. No thanks! Once I make the purchase, they could discount the $200+ shipping I was going to pay by a measly dollar and I'd still have to pay (eBay contractual obligation).

That said, my pregen has newgen wheels which required a custom left-side spacer that @Jiggyfly created. The pregen speedo sender/meter gear does not have a removable spacer, while it looks like the newgen does. I wanted to see if it just happened to fit over the spacer Jiggyfly made but my front stand broke before I could.

I think in this particular case the total cost with shipping with this seller was equal to the inflated cost and lower shipping of other sellers. A wash really.

It's too bad that there are not more 250 parts for sale on this board. That is surprising to me given how many 250s are out there on the street. A friend of mine who buys/sells all kinds of bikes here in the NW said that he has sold 47 ninja 250s over the past two years. That's crazy! So where are all the parts coming off crashed bikes et cetra? Do those riders simply not use ninjette? Are they unaware of this board? I can find pretty much anything for an R6 within, say, a week just because the board community is so large. Parts are flying every single day. And yet you look for race parts for an EX250 and there's just nothing. I wonder if we will start to see the odd set of clip-ons or rearsets come up on the board now that EX250 racing is starting to take off. I know up here there are a lot of guys racing in bigger classes who are looking to build a 250 racer but are kind of holding off b/c all the race parts cost more than the bike itself due to the fact that those parts must be purchased new. It's not like one is going to find a used full leo just kicking around on the board.

Sorry for the ramble, just random thoughts. Anybody else have any thoughts on this?

We love our bikes so much that when we drop them we end up CONSUMING the supply of parts instead of adding to them.
