Nope that type of mount won't fly in California. I don't like my plate placement either I'd rather not put a plate on. Sometimes I ride without it

+1 when seeing these weights....(Stock wheels vs Galespeeds)

Makes me think this is a mod with benefits a rider would notice/feel
especially in twisty rides with a lot of speed changes

25.6% lighter up front
& 17.5% rear differences over stock.
Or near 20% diff for the pair lighter over stock is Very good

BST crazy expensive carbon race wheels advertise *Up To* 30%
lighter than stock on *some* models

These look like a very good mod & might even be
a performance mod that would be felt even more than a efi tuner/exhaust combo given a twisty track/road

So the new swingarm is lighter AND shorter? Interesting. Let us know how it changes the handling/bump compliance.

Being shorter, it should make the bike snappier from side to side and should make it rotate quicker on the gas, but it will also have less travel (slightly) and could be a little more twitchy at speed.

You have an adjustable shock right? You've made a pretty big change in unsprung weight with the wheel and swingarm. It looks great! Now make it handle as good as it looks.

Granted, 22mm is probably within the adjustment range of the old swingarm.

Truth. I guess I didn't consider that. I'm coming from a world of bicycles. 22mm is HUGE in bicycles.

You've put so much money into it. There's no way you'll get what it's worth without parting out! GLWS.
